Out of Retirement
Another thing that occupied an entire month of my retired life was being called back to work the month of May to fill in for vacations.
I spent a month at the Fräbel Buckhead Gallery. And swapped off days with Jeffrey, as my work day was Wednesday. The new manager/owner was remodeling the studio and I framed some of the name-dropper pictures in a “Fräbel blue” matt and now the studio entrance looks more like a gallery, too. Kevin, you done good. It was good to talk and work with the “old folks” again, although there was no David and no Godo, as they escaped to Italy and Germany for a month. I did not really want to work a whole month, just now getting used to being lazy, but the dollars helped a little toward the New Kitchen Project.
The Roundtable (the cathedral lunch bunch) was deprived of my presence an entire month! I hope that didn’t send them into therapy.
