Fort Likkerdale
“Who is this white boy?” she inquired as I strolled Dania Beach this past March during my annual pilgrimage to Fort Lauderdale.
She was apparently appreciating my moon tan as Jim, Sven, Whatshisname and I met her on one of my daily beach visits. My Florida tan is usually a light beige but my normal tan is the color of this paper. No more shade at Dania Beach, however, as the Dubya Brother Government had the trees and bushes cut, ignoring the fact that you need the trees and vegetation to help avoid erosion of the beach. I guess they were afraid that some of the folks on the beach would be going into the bushes. To feed the raccoons, perhaps.
